If you live in Pakistan, you must get an international driving licence permit. The country has strict rules and regulations, and getting one overseas is a lot of work.

Here are some things you need to know before you go to get an International Driving Licence:
- A copy of the applicant’s passport that has been verified.
- Two passport-sized photos that have been verified.
- Three copies of a legal CNIC that have been notarized.
- One copy of the applicant’s national driver’s licence that is still good.
- Medical certificate (if applicable, for age 50 and above).
- Blood Group Report if you want to work for the Motorway Police.
- Copy of a legal driver’s licence from the Sindh Police, Punjab Traffic Police, Motorway Police, or Islamabad Traffic Police.
- One copy of a passport that is still valid and a legal visa.
- If you’re going to the Islamabad Traffic Police, you’ll need proof that you live in Islamabad.
Follow the steps above to finish your paperwork.
After that, go to the office of the driving licence authority in question. Do the Following:
Get a ticket and wait to play.
- Data entry.
- Biometric and real-time pictures of your eyesight.
- Every centre has a computer test on traffic signs, but only the Islamabad Traffic Police has a written test based on a scenario.
- Give all the paperwork to the right person.
Then you’ll have to wait and get in line for the Practical Test.
- If you bring your own car, you can take the test in it. If you don’t, they’ll give you one and you’ll have to follow their orders while driving it.
- A police officer will sit next to you while you take your test. He or she will put a camera on you and start recording.
- Then He or She will tell you what to do next.
- First, he or she will ask to drive on an open field.
- Then, he or she will take you to a nearby road to see how good you are at driving.
- If you follow all of the directions and pass, you’ll get a Success Report.
To get your International Driving Licence, you will have to wait. Usually, it takes a week to get your International Driving Licence. When you get your licence, it will be good in 132 countries, so you can drive without worrying.
